Introduction to English One

Gentleman,

My name is Ayu Luhur Yusdiana Yati. You can call me Ayu. I was born on August 29, 1990 in the borough of Yogyakarta, Indonesia. My parents a private employee. I am 18 years old, single, and in good health. I receive my high school education at Taman Madya Jetis High School Yogyakarta, and was graduated in June, 2008. Now I study in Yogyakarta State University in class B (Mat R08) semester 2. On Tuesday 17thFebruary 2009 I went the school. In English one lesson, we are sat on chair in a coil manner. Lecturer is 1 meters from the students. Then, Mr.Marsigit introduces himself and gives an advice for us. He told about his experiences in abroad and I tried to listens him. He gave the way how to achieve your purpose, how to reached top place from lowest place. The first step is Motivation. With strong desire, we will easy to face many difficulties. We must keep firm in our purpose. Sacrifice little and get a maximal success. For second step is from your behavior. What's its meaning cleverness without with good personality? Moreover many people like that. So for third step is your knowledge of English and communication. The competent in English One is how to communicate mathematics in English. Communication is to talk, to comment, to discuss, to write. I personality think that English is the world’s most important language. Why do I say that? Firstly, English is an international language. It is spoken by many people all over the world either as a first or second language. Secondly, English is also the key to opens doors to scientific and technical knowledge, which is needed for the economic and politics development of many countries in the world. Thirdly, English is a top requirement of those seeking jobs. Applicants who have master either active or passive English are more favorable than those who don’t. From the facts above, it is obvious that everybody needs to learn English to great the global era. Fourth step to achieve your purpose is you will to develop of your skill. The characteristic of adult are responsibility, independent learner, cooperate, and find out yourself. It means pushing skill growth rate s up rather than children and adults to lose interest in learning. Although following in mind. If we do not go this route, vast numbers of people in the world may do poorly in a global market, while a few people do exceptionally well. As a result, the gap between the rich and the poor will grow and grow 3/4 until something explodes. The fifth step is Experience. Because adult have the experience of life, they know what knowledge will be useful to them and what will not. If they cannot read or write, they have experience the problems cause by illiteracy. If they cannot do their jobs well, they have experience the loss of income or of job opportunities caused by a lack of vocational training. Adults have usually accumulated a wealth of experience of live in general that can help them in learning. They have more practical, everyday experience that can help them understand what they learn in school. Finally after the fifth step, the highest place can accessible. Come to international network is a very nice highest place. May our ideals be fulfilled?

On Tuesday 24th February 2009. The material is about mathematical. What really mathematical thinking means. First is about mathematical attitude. Starting from good attitude.
